What it is for
By the time a new product needs a quote, its item numbers, bill of materials and routing are usually not set up yet, and if they were entered only for the quote, they would stay in the system.
The app manages the quote's bill of materials and routing separately, imports the data of existing items and operations, and lets you enter the remaining costs by hand.

A unique identifier per job
The app generates an identifier for every custom job, so the quote can be looked up later.

Attachments
Drawings, specifications and anything else belonging to the quote can be uploaded to the document.

E-mail notifications
Everyone involved is notified automatically when the state of the quote changes.

Date tracking
The arrival date of the raw materials and the confirmation date can both be recorded.
